National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov spoke at the International forum in Ashgabat dedicated to the 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan.
Emphasising the need for constructive mobilisation of the potential, political maturity, will, and integrity of the entire global community, Hero-Arkadag noted that all states, regardless of their structure, size, and other factors, bear responsibility for the future of our planet today.
The key mechanism for such unification, according to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, is the potential of the United Nations Organisation.
«We must utilise the potential of UN as the only international organisation with universal legitimacy and mandate. Cooperation on a platform of Peace and Trust presupposes the existence of recognised political and legal foundations, clear and precise principles enshrined in the UN Charter – equality, mutual respect, and non-interference in sovereign affairs», – stated Hero-Arkadag.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people concluded that adherence to these principles is the key to maintaining peace, predictability, and the opportunity to rebuild the foundations of civilised communication with each other.
