The Turkmen state institute of architecture and construction invites students from higher education institutions in Turkmenistan and abroad to the V Open international internet Olympiad in the discipline «Strength of materials».
The Olympiad will take place on the 18th of March. Registration of participants is open until 15th of March. To apply for participation, please complete the registration form and send it to tdbgiobolymp@gmail.com. A sample form is available for download on the website of the institute, where you can also find the Olympiad regulations, preparation tasks, and other useful information for participants.
The Olympiad is open to all interested students who are passionate about the subject, regardless of their field of study or university specialisation. The competition will be held in the form of individual competitions. Participants have been given 6 tasks to solve, and they have 120 minutes to complete them. The working languages of the Olympiad are Turkmen, English and Russian.
The competition jury will include representatives of Turkmen and foreign universities. The winners and runners-up of the Internet Olympiad will be determined by the total number of points scored and will be awarded diplomas of the I, II, and III degrees.
The Olympiad is held to develop and strengthen cooperation between universities and research centres in Turkmenistan and abroad, to stimulate and encourage the interest in studying science of young people, to identify talented and capable young people, and to create favourable conditions for their intellectual development.
