An Olympiad in modern computer technologies was held at Magtymguly Turkmen State University.

The event was conducted online among students of higher education institutions across Turkmenistan.

According to the results of the competition, participants won a total of 26 prize places: 5 first places, 9 second places, and 12 third places.

The five first-place winners were Dowran Akmyradov and Islam Shamadov (Magtymguly Turkmen State University), Arslan Bayramov (State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan), Emir Merdanov (Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan), and Begench Bayrammyradov (Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University).

Representatives of these universities also took second and third places in the competition. Among the prize winners are also students from the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan, the Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, the International University for the Humanities and Development, Myrat Garryev State Medical University of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management, the Border Guard Institute of Turkmenistan, S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University, the Institute of Engineering-Technical and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan, D. Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages, the Aba Annayev International Academy of Horse Breeding, and the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports.

The winners of the competition were awarded diplomas of the corresponding degrees.

The Olympiad was organized with the aim of identifying talented and capable youth, improving students’ theoretical knowledge and practical skills, creating favorable conditions for their intellectual and professional development, and training young specialists capable of analyzing and effectively solving modern scientific and practical IT-related tasks.

As noted by the organizers, the competition clearly demonstrated the excellent level of students’ preparation in the subject, their ability to confidently navigate the digital environment, and to effectively use innovative technologies.
