President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, where the macroeconomic indicators of the country for January-April of this year were announced.

Addressing members of the Cabinet of Ministers, the President of Turkmenistan noted that, based on the work completed over the first four months of this year, good indicators have been achieved, programs aimed at developing the country are being successfully implemented, reforms in all sectors of the economy are being effectively implemented, and production sectors are being consistently improved.

The head of state noted with satisfaction that the GDP growth rate remains at a consistently high level, amounting to 6.3%, the country continues to actively build large industrial facilities and expand its export potential, and large-scale construction of residential buildings, modern villages, new schools and kindergartens is underway.

At the end of the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan instructed members of the Cabinet of Ministers to strictly monitor the implementation of all adopted state programs.
