An international scientific forum is being held at the TSU named after Magtymguly

On the 13th of May, the opening ceremony of the International scientific and practical conference «Modern scientific research and innovative technologies», dedicated to the Day of Science, the 35th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan and the year «Independent, neutral Turkmenistan is the homeland of purposeful winged horses», took place at the Turkmen state university named after Magtymguly.

More than 100 professors, teachers, scientists and specialists from higher education institutions in 24 countries, including Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Türkiye, China, Italy, Denmark, Romania, Bangladesh, India, Rwanda, Algeria, Namibia, Myanmar, Georgia, Cambodia, Tanzania and Ghana, are participating in the international forum.

Turkmenistan is represented at the forum by 288 participants from 30 higher education institutions and research institutes.

The international conference is being held online in Turkmen, Russian, and English.

During the plenary session of the conference, it was emphasized that in recent years, thanks to the efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen people and the Esteemed President of Turkmenistan, scientific and educational cooperation between Turkmenistan and countries around the world has been steadily developing. Along with its ongoing efforts to strengthen global peace and stability, Turkmenistan is consistently and effectively implementing large-scale work to develop international cooperation in the fields of education, science, and technology in order to achieve universal sustainable development.

On the occasion of the conference, a thematic exhibition was held at the university, highlighting the outstanding achievements of the educational, methodological, and research work of Turkmen scientists, professors, teachers, and students, as well as achievements of our country in science and education.

Today, 14th of May, the two-day conference continued its work in the following four sections:

I. The role of innovative technologies in the modern development of natural sciences. Improving the methods of teaching natural science disciplines;

II. The importance of the achievements of exact sciences in the development of digital technologies. Modern methods of teaching exact scientific disciplines;

III. The main directions of development of the humanities: current problems of history, psychology, pedagogy, law and social sciences;

IV. Scientific foundations of studying and methods of teaching the Turkmen language, foreign languages and literature. Theory and practice of translation.

At the scientific and practical conference, participants will have the opportunity to exchange experiences, jointly review and discuss scientific achievements in the development of modern educational technologies, and the results of research and methodological work at the universities, educational and scientific centres they represent.

Following the international forum, it is planned to publish an electronic collection of abstracts.

Participation in the conference by scientists and professors from foreign countries will significantly contribute to the enrichment of national experience in developing priority areas of modern science, studying and implementing the latest scientific achievements in key areas of science, as well as the further development and strengthening of scientific and educational cooperation between Turkmenistan and countries around the world, built on the foundation of peace, trust, and friendship.
