On the eve of World Environment Day, a scientific and practical conference entitled «The role of innovative technologies in ensuring environmental well-being» was held at the International scientific and technological park of the Academy of sciences of Turkmenistan.

The event was attended by scientists, graduate students, and specialists from the technology park, as well as teachers from the Turkmen state institute of architecture and construction.

Participants discussed the implementation of green technologies and presented specific research and development projects. The focus was on industrial waste disposal, including its use to combat soil salinisation, methods for purifying gases during welding, and the scientific basis for producing synthesis gas from thermal emissions. Particular emphasis was placed on the efficient calculation of production capacities and the rational use of natural resources of the country.

In Turkmenistan, great attention is paid to environmental issues. The projects presented at the conference are being implemented within the framework of long-term state environmental policy and are aimed at the practical implementation of scientific achievements in production.
