The Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan has announced the winners of the 4th Innovative Technologies Competition for Youth, dedicated to Science Day and the motto of 2026: “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses.”

The Grand Prix of the competition was awarded to Gulbahar Orazberdiyeva, a 12th-grade student of Secondary School No. 24 for Gifted Children in the city of Mary, Mary Мelayat. The student brilliantly prepared and presented her project, “Utilizing a Digital System to Monitor Child Health.”

First prizes were awarded to the authors of eight projects:

“Smart Glasses for Monitoring Drowsiness in Long-Haul Truck Drivers” by Ayshat Ishangulyeva, a 12th-grade student of Secondary School No. 12 with advanced studies in exact and natural sciences in Oguzhan etrap, Mary velayat;

“DubAI (Video Dubbing Project)” by Alybaba Begov, an 11th-grade student of the School for Gifted Children named after Hero of Turkmenistan Atamyrat Niyazov;

“A Wet Gas Purification Method Using Ferromagnetic Influence” by Ayjemal Hydyrova, a lecturer at the Scientific Research Institute of Natural Gas under the State Concern “Turkmengaz” in Ashgabat;

“Technology for Producing Glycerin from Sesame Waste” by Suray Memiyeva, a student of the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan;

“Apiplantin – Environmentally Friendly Candles” Merjen Haytgulyyeva, a student of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute;

“Red Diamond – The First Online Blood Donor Platform” by Aynur Atamyradova, a student of the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan;

“ECO-Robot” by Didar Dovrangeldiyev, a student of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan;

“Smart Agricultural Machinery” by Annamammet Garajayev, a student of the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan.

An additional 26 outstanding projects received recognition, earning seven second-place awards and nineteen third-place awards.

The winners and prize recipients were presented with valuable gifts, medals, diplomas of the corresponding degree, and letters of recommendation from the university for admission to higher educational institutions and future employment opportunities.

This year, more than 600 applications were submitted by talented young people from across Turkmenistan under the age of 35.

Following the selection process, approximately 200 authors of innovative projects that received high evaluations from the jury advanced to the second and final stage of the competition. The final round was held in the format of an innovation technologies exhibition and competition at the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan.

The competition provided young participants with an excellent opportunity to showcase their creative ideas, skills, and abilities in various fields, impressing both the distinguished jury members and fellow participants.

Projects presented during the competition covered a wide range of areas, including website and software development, mobile applications, robotics, artificial intelligence, electronic devices, digital and innovative economic models, innovative services, chemistry and biotechnology, cybersecurity and information technology, agriculture, renewable energy sources, medicine, and other fields.

The projects clearly demonstrated the willingness and determination of young people to contribute to the development of the country’s national economy and social sector.

The annual competition, which has become one of the largest scientific and educational initiatives in our country, plays a significant role not only in identifying, encouraging, and supporting talented youth, but also serves as an effective platform for fostering young people's interest in scientific research, project and engineering activities, and new scientific achievements and discoveries.
