Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers to consider a number of issues of state life.

Chairwoman of the Mejlis D.Gulmanova, who informed on the activity carried out to improve the legislative framework of the country, was the first to take the floor at the meeting.

As she informed, at present, on the basis of the proposals arriving from ministries and sectoral departments, corresponding work is carried out to amend and add Codes of Customs, Labour, Sanitary, Family of Turkmenistan, the Code of administrative offences, and Laws «On conscription and military service», «Administrative work», «Court» and «Publishing».

At the same time, in the parliament, meetings with representatives of the UNICEF and International Migration Organization in Turkmenistan took place. Besides it, representatives of the Mejlis took part in seminars and the meetings organised by structural divisions of the United Nations together with profile state institutions of our country.

Having heard the information, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised the significance of the further development of the new bills answering to realities of the time.

Then, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet Kh.Geldimyradov reported on the course of preparation for the first meeting of the Turkmen-Slovak joint commission on economic cooperation.

As he reported, necessary measures are taken at present to create this commission and hold its first session. With a view of further development of relations between two countries, at the forthcoming meeting of the Turkmen-Slovak joint commission on economic cooperation, partnership prospects in trade and economic, fuel and energy, construction, transport-communication, information technology and in such areas as agriculture, preservation of the environment, public health services and medical science, education, culture, sports and tourism will be discussed.

In this connection, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet submitted a relevant proposal for consideration of the head of the state.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined that our country carries out productive interaction with states of Europe, including with the Slovak Republic. Having signed the document prepared with a view of the further development of relations between Turkmenistan and the Slovak Republic, the head of the state instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet to implement necessary work.

Further, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet G.Agajanov reported on the activity of "Türkmengaz" and «Türkmennebit» State Concerns.

As he reported, in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, due measures are realized to increase in volumes of extraction of natural gas and its reliable supply to consumers, and develop oil and gas deposits and expand scopes of work. Thus, a special significance is given to effective interaction with leading companies of China.

In this connection, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet submitted a relevant proposal for consideration of the head of the state.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pointed out that a target activity is implemented to develop and modernise the national oil and gas branch. Having signed the documents prepared with a view of successful fulfilment of goals, put before the given sector, the head of the state gave the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet a number of instructions.

Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet T.Atahallyev reported on the state of affairs in the agricultural complex and course of seasonal campaigns in velayats.

As he reported, practical steps are taken to gather the rich crop of wheat lost-free in regions. The corresponding work aimed at involvement of harvesting combines and motor transport in the wheat harvesting campaigns and transportation of the collected crop to reception points proceeds.

Necessary measures are also implemented to ensure proper care of cotton, in particular, interrow cultivation, application of mineral fertilizers and watering are carried out according to agro-technical standards.

Besides it, in Dashoguz velayat, due care is taken rice fields, in Lebap velayat, the rice sowing goes on and in Mary velayat, preparation for the autumn sugar beet sowing runs.

With a view of the organisation of appropriate care of cattle, increases in its livestock and productivity increase, today, in cattle-breeding economies of the regions concrete measures are realized to create stocks of forage for animals.

Corresponding work is carried out to water supply to areas under crops and improve the ameliorative condition of the fields, rational and effective utilisation of water resources, cleaning of drainage canals.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov marked the importance of the further complex development and perfection of agricultural branch of the country. The head of the state instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet to hold the timely and well-organised conduction of the grain-harvesting season, and transportation of the crop and care of cotton fields under strict control.

Then, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet B.Annamammedov reported on the activity of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Manufacture.

As he reported, necessary measures are taken with a view of full and uninterrupted involvement of "Türkmendemirönümleri" state enterprise that has a great significance in supply of branches of economy and construction projects realised in the country with high-quality building materials at present.

In this connection, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet submitted a relevant proposal for consideration of the head of the state.

Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the productive work implemented to develop the construction and industrial sector. Having approved the proposal prepared with a view of maintenance of uninterrupted functioning of manufacture of "Türkmendemirönümleri" state enterprise, the head of the state gave the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet a number of instructions to that end.

Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet N.Atagulyev reported on the work implemented to further develop the textile industry.

As he informed, in the country, textile enterprises equipped with modern technologies are regularly put into operation and due measures aimed at strengthening the material and technical basis of the branch are launched. It promotes rise of volumes and increase in the list of the made high quality and highly demanded production.

In this connection, for consideration of the President of Turkmenistan a corresponding proposal was presented.

Having heard the report, head of the state Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined that at the textile enterprises operating in the country, competitive high-quality products are manufactured. Having approved the proposal, concerning fulfilment of orders from various branches for textile production, the President of Turkmenistan instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet to carry out corresponding work.

Further, Deputy-Chairwoman of the Cabinet B.Seyidova reported on preparation for the Week of culture in Balkan velayat.

As he informed, thanks to indefatigable efforts of the President of Turkmenistan and Hero Arkadag, necessary conditions are created to develop culture, preserve the national heritage and popularise it widely at the international level.

According to the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan and on the occasion of Day of workers of culture and art, as well as poetry of Magtymguly Fragi, the corresponding preparation work is carried out to organise the regular Week of culture in Balkan velayat on June, 22-27 of the year «Independent neutral Turkmenistan - the homeland of purposeful winged racers».

In its frameworks, various cultural events for art forms, art creativity, including opening and closing ceremonies of the Week of culture in the building «Türkmeniň ak öýi» in the city of Balkanabat, song and musical performances, conferences, exhibitions, creative meetings, literary soirees, displays of films and scenic statements are planned. Besides it, creative competitions announced earlier will be summed up and the opera «Leyli and Mejnun» will be displayed at the national music and drama theatre named after Magtymguly.

In this connection, the Deputy-Chairwoman of the Cabinet submitted a relevant proposal for consideration of the head of the state.

Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined that in Turkmenistan, the great attention is given to development of culture, on the occasion of Day of workers of culture and art as well as poetry of Magtymguly Fragi, numerous events will be organised. In that regard, the Deputy-Chairwoman of the Cabinet was instructed to prepared and provide properly a high level of the Week of culture.

Further , Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet B.Mammedov who, first of all, on behalf of the scientific community of the country, warmly congratulated the head of the state and Hero-Arkadag with Day of Science solemnly marked in the year «Independent neutral Turkmenistan - the homeland of purposeful winged racers» as well as Arkadagly Hero Serdar - on his election as the academician of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and assignment of the academic status of the professor of economy and politics. He wished sound health, longevity, successes in their large-scale activity for well-being of our people and fatherland to the National Leader of the Turkmen people and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Then, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet reported on the work realized to develop science in the country.

As he reported, in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, a complex activity is implemented to develop the sphere of science and improve its legislative, material, and technical basis consecutively according to realities of the time.

According to the goals defined in the «Strategy of development of the sphere of science in Turkmenistan for 2024-2052» and the Plan of actions for its realisation for 2024-2028 which were approved by the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, the Academy of Sciences together with ministries and branch departments prepared the draft of the « Government program on popularisation of achievements of science, technics and technologies in Turkmenistan for 2026-2030» and the Plan of action for its realisation.

The purpose of the Program is the further increase of human capital, expansion of scientific outlook and outlook of the youth, development of its scientific and creative potential, and active attraction of young people to the scientific activity by popularisation of achievements of science, technics and technologies among all representatives of society, including the youth.

In this connection, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet submitted a relevant proposal for consideration of the head of the state.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noticed that in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, an effective work is implemented to develop the intellectual potential, scientific outlook of the population and, having signed the document «On approval of the Government program on popularisation of achievements of science, technics and technologies in Turkmenistan in 2026-2030», gave the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet a number of instructions.

Then, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, Minister of Foreign Affairs R.Meredov who, first of all, on behalf of participants of the meeting warmly congratulated the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people with Day of Science widely marked annually in the country, and the head of the state - with assignment of the academic status of the professor of economy and politics and election as the academician of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan in economic and political sciences. As he marked, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan from first days of independence of our fatherland has carried out enormous work in development of science. Today, the President of Turkmenistan adequately continues initiatives of Hero-Arkadag in this area. The Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, Minister of Foreign Affairs wished Hero-Arkadag and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sound health, longevity and successes in their responsible activity for well-being and prosperity of our people and land.

Then, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, Minister of Foreign Affairs reported on the course of preparation for the official visit of Prime Minister of Malaysia to Turkmenistan.

As he underlined, development of mutually beneficial cooperation of Turkmenistan with the world countries acts as one of the basic vectors of the foreign policy of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. In the given context, on a systematic basis, due work is realized to expand and strengthen mutual relations of our fatherland with the states of the Asian continent.

The partnership with Malaysia, which was among the first to recognise independence of Turkmenistan, was especially marked. Diplomatic relations between our countries were established on May 17, 1992 and today, are supported at high level. Malaysia - the state, which is one of the first to have supported the international recognition of permanent neutrality of our fatherland. Today, the contract-legal basis of bilateral cooperation is supported by 43 interstate, intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents.

Concerning the political sphere, it was underlined that an important role in partnership development is attached to mutual visits of heads of the states and the governments, summits. So, 9 state and official visits of high level, in particular, 4 visits of the President of Turkmenistan to Malaysia, 5 visits of Prime Ministers of Malaysia to our country were organised.

In that connection, he pointed out that National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Hero-Arkadag throughout many years carried out a great deal of work to deepen mutual relations with the countries of the Asian-Pacific region, including with Malaysia.

In particular, during the state and official visits of Hero – Arkadag to Malaysia in 2011 and in 2016 a basis was laid to strengthen friendly relations between our countries, expansion of political dialogue and activization of mutually beneficial cooperation.

Today, under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, interaction with Malaysia develops. In that regard, he especially noticed that following the results of official visit of the head of the state to Malaysia on December 18-19, 2024, mutual relations were brought out to a qualitatively new level.

At the same time, contacts at level of the governments and Ministries of Foreign Affairs are supported. The political dialogue between Turkmenistan and Malaysia effectively develops within the international organisations, in particular, the United Nations Organization, the Organizations of Islamic Cooperation, Non-alignment movement and other large authoritative structures.

In the trade and economic sphere, Malaysia is the old partner of Turkmenistan. In that connection, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, Minister of Foreign Affairs R.Meredov reported on preparation for the official visit of the delegation at the head of the Prime minister of Malaysia to our country. As he marked, its results will promote the further expansion and development of relations between two friendly countries into a qualitatively new level.

Having heard the report, the head of the state underlined that interaction between Turkmenistan and Malaysia fruitfully develops, and with a view of strengthening interstate cooperation instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, Minister of Foreign Affairs to properly prepare for the official visit of the Prime Minister of Malaysia to our country.

Further, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet B.Annayev reported on the work carried out to perfect the activity of the transport-communication complex.

As he reported, the material and technical basis of the given sector consistently grows stronger and effectual measures are implemented to ensure compliance of its standard and legal basis with requirements of the time that has a great significance for the further development of the complex.

In this connection, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet submitted a relevant proposal for consideration of the head of the state.

Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noticed that the transport-communication sector is one of the key sectors of national economy. Having signed the Resolution prepared with a view of perfection of the activity of ministries and departments, entering into the structure of the complex, the head of the state instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet to carry out corresponding work.

Then, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, addressing members of the Cabinet, noticed that today, the country marks Day of Science widely. As he underlined, our independent fatherland attaches a great significance to development of the sphere of science and creates all conditions so that citizens can learn science and obtain good education. Taking an opportunity, the head of the state warmly congratulated participants of the meeting and our people on Day of Science.

At the meeting, a number of other important issues of state life, on which corresponding decisions were made, were also considered.

Concluding the online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished its participants sound health, family well-being and big successes in their work for prosperity of our sovereign fatherland.
