Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to Akhal velayat where he familiarised with the course of the ongoing wheat harvesting campaign in the region.

The large scale program of transformations aimed at development of the agricultural branch of the country, modernisation of its material and technical basis and introduction of manufacture of innovations and advanced achievements of science into practice initiated by National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag, at present is successfully realised under the leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar. Thus, a special significance is given to construction of elevators, processing enterprises of agriculture, factories for manufacture of mineral fertilizers and water management facilities that as a whole promotes maintenance of food abundance in the country.

... In the morning, the President of Turkmenistan arrived in the wheat fields of «Gäwers» farmers association of Ak bugday etrap of Akhal velayat.

There, corresponding heads of agriculture of the country and the khyakim of Akhal velayat warmly met Arkadagly Hero Serdar.

Agricultural fields of the region were sown with high-yielding grades of wheat the current year. At present, rural agriculturalists of the velayat, inspired with the blessing of the head of the state, work hard for the successful completion of the grain harvest. During the harvest, modern grain harvesting combines are effectively involved. The high-efficiency machinery works the round the clock, helping farmers to reap the grown rich crop quickly and lost-free.

As known, according to the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, from the harvest of 2024, the state procurement prices for wheat, cotton and rice were increased. It visually speaks of the fact that the comprehensive support of agricultural manufacturers acts as one of the priority areas of the state policy realised in the country.

Then, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov proceeded to the wheat fields belonging to the tenant farmer of «Gäwers» famers association D.Muhammetsahedov.

Having warmly greeted the head of the state, the farmer pointed out that the visit of Arkadagly Hero Serdar became a subject of special pride for inhabitants of the velayat and grain-growers. Having underlined, that exactly thanks to the consecutive support of the President of Turkmenistan and Hero-Arkadag to agriculture, grain-growers grow a rich harvest of wheat, the tenant expressed sincere gratitude for the created fine conditions for productive work.

Then, the tenant famer with deep respect requested the head of the state to bless the start of the grain harvest.

At his request, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov with words «Bismilla» cut off a small sheaf of wheat grown by hardworking grain growers and thereby blessed the start of harvest. During the same moment, grain-harvesting combines started to harvest.

The head of the state observed the course of wheat harvest in wheat fields of «Gäwers» farmers association.

Grain harvesting combines purchased by the order of the President of Turkmenistan for the national agricultural branch, the equipment and capacity of which completely correspond to the international standards, provide a high efficiency of work of machine operators. It serves as evident result of constant efforts of the head of the state to further strengthen the material and technical basis of the agro-industrial sector and creation of all conditions for maintenance of effective work of workers of villages.

In addition, a huge significance is attached to introduction of new scientific approaches in agriculture. Adjustment of manufacture of new species of agricultural crops became a key area of the strategy of development of plant growing. In the given context, the work carried out by the scientific research institute of grain growing of the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan, in particular, creation of new varieties of winter wheat, which were named «Serdar», «Arkadag» and «Pyragy», deserves special attention.

In the present period, the combination of national agricultural traditions with the latest achievements of science provides progress in the branch. Introduction of digital technologies allows conducting more effective work in agricultural fields and implementing crop rotation on an innovative basis. In this connection, local tenant grain growers actively master the advanced methods of cultivation of rich crops and puts a strong basis of well-being of our powerful, promptly developing state.

Then, the President of Turkmenistan had a talk with tenant farmer D.Muhammetsahedov and was interested in conditions of his work, kinds of crops grown in the rented field and productivity of wheat fields.

The farmer noticed that thanks to efforts of the President of Turkmenistan and Hero-Arkadag, all conditions for high-efficiency work are created. Telling of the work, the tenant farmer informed that he has been engaged in agriculture since 2012 and in the land of 28 hectares, the half is occupied with cotton, and the rest of 14 hectares is sown with wheat and expects to receive about 40 centners of wheat per hectare.

Arkadagly Hero Serdar underlined that in the country, a large-scale activity is implemented to develop the agricultural sector and the huge attention is given to improvement of social living conditions of agricultural population.

As was marked, farmers are regularly provided with modern technics, high-quality seeds and fertilizers that allows receiving a rich crop of the fertile earth.

Having underlined that the state will always support to honest peasants, the head of the state with pride noted the huge contribution of tenant farmers to maintenance of food well-being of the country.

Then, the President of Turkmenistan watched the exhibition of fruit and vegetable production organised there and fruits, various kinds of grain crops and bread and bakery products.

In our country, complex measures are realized to fully involve agricultural potential, support agricultural manufacturers, maintain food abundance and expand manufacture of high-quality foodstuff. In this connection, it is necessary to mark that thanks to the state policy pursued in the agricultural branch, large-scale reforms aimed at strengthening food safety and export potential of the country are successfully carried out.

With a view of increase in volumes of output of agricultural crops, the concrete measures aimed at rational use of land and water resources, productivity increase, and introduction of modern technologies and latest achievements of agrarian science are taken.

The exhibition attested to maintenance of food abundance in the country. It is necessary to notice that the bakery products presented in it, were prepared from wheat crop of this year.

Thanks to successful agricultural reforms realised under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan and assiduous work of local farmers, the population is completely provided by food flour and grain production. Introduction of new species of agricultural crops acts as a key vector of innovative strategy of development of plant growing.

A variety of production presented at the exhibition - one more visible acknowledgement of success of the reforms which are carried out today in the agricultural branch. Hardworking farmers who grow rich crops of wheat, fruits and vegetables, gourds and berries bring the powerful contribution to transformations. All these products differ with their high quality and ecological cleanliness.

Then, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet T.Atahallyev reported to the President of Turkmenistan on the course of the grain harvesting campaign proceeding in the country.

As was marked, these days in all velayats of the country, a start was given to the grain harvest, and with a view of its well-organised conduction, appropriate measures are taken. During the harvesting, the modern agricultural machinery is fully involved.

Head of the state Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined that successful conduction of grain-harvesting campaign, gathering of the grown crop lost-free, its uninterrupted reception and appropriate storage, and efficient use of agricultural machinery act as one of the key conditions to further strengthen food abundance in the country. Thereupon, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet was instructed to hold the work in the given area under constant control.

Then, the President of Turkmenistan handed the tenant farmer D.Muhammetsahedov gifts.

Having sincerely thanked for costly presents and created conditions for effective work of farmers, the tenant farmer assured that he will do his utmost to produce a rich crop of wheat for the state and wished President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Hero-Arkadag sound health, long years of life and constant successes in their noble work for the public good and country.

Having wished all successes in their work, the head of the state left the place.

Thus, the working trip of the President of Turkmenistan to Akhal velayat became another visual evidence of creation of all conditions for effective, high-efficiency work and happy life of rural workers in the country and success of the large-scale work carried out to strengthen food abundance in our fatherland.
