On June 23, 2026 a delegation of Turkmenistan led by Rahymberdi Jepbarov, Chairman of the Board of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Activities of Turkmenistan, is participating in the OPEC Fund Development Forum 2026, held in Vienna. About this reports MFA of Turkmenistan.

The Forum, held under the theme “A Transition that Empowers Our Tomorrow,” brings together government officials, development institutions and business leaders from around the world. The 2026 edition also marks the 50th anniversary of the OPEC Fund for International Development.

Within the framework of the visit to Vienna, the Turkmen delegation held meetings with Dr. Abdulhamid Alkhalifa, President of the OPEC Fund for International Development, Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development and Baghdad Amreyev, President of Turkic Investment Fund.

The participation of the Turkmen delegation in the Forum reflects the country’s continued engagement with international financial and development institutions.
