Turkmenistan and Georgia discussed key issues in financial and economic cooperation

On 24 June 2026, a meeting was held between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Georgia D.Seyitmammedov and Minister of Finance of Georgia L.Khutsishvili.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation in the financial and economic sphere, as well as prospects for its further development.

Particular attention was paid to issues related to expanding investment collaboration, developing the banking sector, and improving the tax system, enhancing the efficiency of financial mechanisms, as well as implementing joint initiatives aimed at ensuring sustainable economic growth.

The parties also underscored the importance of fostering trust between the financial institutions of the two countries and reaffirmed their mutual commitment to maintaining regular contacts and coordinating efforts with a view to further enhancing economic ties.
