Issues Related to Preparations for the Second Meeting of the Turkmen-Tajik Business Council Discussed

At a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held via the digital system by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, a number of important issues of national significance were considered, including the implementation of the country's foreign economic strategy.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers N. Atagulyev presented a report on preparations for the second meeting of the Turkmen-Tajik Business Council, which is scheduled to take place in Dushanbe.

The Deputy Chairman reported that coordinated efforts are currently underway to organize the forum. As noted during the meeting, the Council's primary objective is to further expand and diversify mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tajikistan.

The meeting is expected to bring together heads and leading specialists of relevant ministries and sectoral agencies, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, and members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.

The Deputy Chairman submitted for the President's consideration a proposal regarding the composition of the Turkmen delegation and the agenda for the upcoming Business Council meeting.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan continues to consistently strengthen its trade and economic cooperation with countries across the region and around the world. In this regard, the Head of State instructed the Deputy Chairman to ensure thorough preparations for the forthcoming meeting of the Turkmen-Tajik Business Council.
