President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via digital system, where state affairs were discussed. During the meeting, a report was heard on preparations for organising retail sales of school supplies in anticipation of the new academic year.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers N. Atagulyyev presented a report on the practical steps being taken. The deputy-prime announced that specialised retail outlets will offer a wide range of school supplies and various textile products for students.
It is proposed to begin selling school supplies in all velayats, etraps, as well as in the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag on the 1st of August.
After hearing the report, the head of state emphasised the importance of providing the population with high-quality essential goods and instructed that mobile retail outlets be organised based on a thorough study of citizen demand and needs.
