The Anzan Mental Arithmetic Championship of Turkmenistan was held as part of the international exhibition and fair “Kids Expo: Everything for Children.” The competition was jointly organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, as well as the “Kämil bilim” and “Zehin ýoly” educational centers.
The competition was conducted in accordance with the strict rules of the “Flash Anzan Marathon” category of the Memoriad World Mental Sports Federation. Around 120 schoolchildren aged 6 to 14 from across the country competed for the title of the best. Following the intense intellectual competition, 24 students won prizes, while five schoolchildren set new national records.

Among the championship winners who achieved the highest scores, Emrah Shamyradov, a seventh-grade student at the boarding school attached to Secondary School No. 9 in Turkmenabat, the Lebap velayat, took first place in the overall standings. Ybrayym Kerimov, a fifth-grade student at Secondary School No. 41 in Ashgabat, finished second, while Kerim Gahrymanov, a fourth-grade student at Secondary School No. 3 in the Sayat etrap of the Lebap velayat, took third place. In addition, another 21 schoolchildren secured first, second, and third places in their respective age categories.

Among the young talents who set new national records were Veli Saparov, a seventh-grade student at Secondary School No. 1 in the Garabekewul etrap, the Lebap velayat, who established a new record for memorizing binary digits; Mekan Nurgeldiyev, a seventh-grade student at Specialized Secondary School No. 41 in Turkmenabat, the Lebap velayat, who excelled in mentally calculating square roots; Mekan Batyrov, an eighth-grade student at Secondary School No. 3 in Balkanabat, the Balkan velayat, who achieved the best result in mental multiplication (5×5); and Rovach Begenjov, a seventh-grade student at Specialized Secondary School No. 28 in Turkmenabat, which specializes in the in-depth study of mathematics and natural sciences, who set new national records in both mental addition and speed mental addition.

The winners who took prize-winning places, as well as the students who set new records, received commemorative gifts and laptops from the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan.
The student who achieved the highest score, together with the teacher who had trained him in the Anzan mental arithmetic program, was ceremonially presented with a certificate for a seven-day trip to Vietnam. The schoolchildren who set new national records were awarded certificates for a five-day holiday at the Avaza National Tourist Zone.
