In the era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, the construction industry holds a special place in the life of the country. Modern buildings and structures being constructed and commissioned, equipped with advanced technology, contribute to further strengthening the economic potential of the sovereign Homeland and steadily improving the living standards of the population.
This year, being held under the motto “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan — the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses,” large-scale work is under way in the construction sector, alongside other areas of the economy. Labour teams are striving to mark the glorious 35th anniversary of the Motherland’s independence with significant achievements in production.
Naturally, construction work requires construction materials above all else. Efforts in this area, including the establishment of powerful enterprises and plants producing high-quality construction materials throughout the country, are yielding positive results. The fact that dozens of such enterprises, both state-owned and privately owned, are operating in the Lebap velayat alone clearly demonstrates the particular importance attached in Turkmenistan to construction and development. In this context, it is also worth noting the rational exploitation of the country’s enormous reserves of local natural resources. This makes it possible to keep production costs low while maintaining the high quality of the products.
One of the enterprises established on the basis of this approach and equipped with advanced technologies is the Koytendag Quarry Administration of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan. Today, a diversified industrial centre is actively being developed in the eastern region of the country to exploit its promising and abundant raw-material base. The Koytendag Quarry Administration plays a special role in implementing this large-scale project, while its products ensure the uninterrupted progress of construction work throughout the country.
The enterprise specializes in producing in-demand non-metallic construction materials, including crushed stone, washed sand, and sand-and-gravel mixtures. The introduction of powerful technological equipment and the expansion of the vehicle fleet have given further impetus to the development of production. At present, the administration effectively operates four excavators, two bulldozers, eight loaders, as well as freight vehicles consisting of 14 heavy-duty «KamAZ» trucks and 12 «MAZ» trucks.
The raw materials required for production are extracted from the quarry facilities belonging to the administration, covering an area of 310 hectares. The entire technological process — from the arrival of raw materials to the production of finished goods — is fully automated. This ensures that the construction materials strictly comply with technological requirements and meet high quality standards.
During the first seven months of 2026, the administration fulfilled its production plan for non-metallic construction materials by 109.48 percent. Since the beginning of the year, it has produced 158,180 cubic meters of crushed stone (stone aggregate), 234,470 cubic meters of washed and processed sand, and 27,040 cubic meters of rubble stone. In addition, the enterprise produced 203,560 cubic meters of sand-and-gravel mixture. The strong production figures demonstrate a continuous increase in labour productivity at the enterprise, while the prompt shipment of finished construction materials to construction sites across the country testifies to the administration’s effective work in marketing and supplying its products.
