President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on the digital system, where key issues of state life were discussed.

During the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers H. Geldimyradov reported on the progress of preparations for the scientific and practical conference «Innovation and digital technologies – driving forces of economic development», scheduled to be held in the capital this September.

According to the report of Deputy-prime, the thematic range of the upcoming forum includes a number of specialised areas.

These include the implementation of innovations and promising vectors for the development of the digital economy, the use of advanced technologies in public administration and industries, the development of e-government, artificial intelligence and financial technologies, the expansion of digital services and the improvement of production activities, the training of qualified personnel and the study of international experience.

Summarising the report, the head of state emphasised the strategic importance of implementing digital solutions in all areas of the national economy and ordered that the upcoming conference be held at a high organisational level.
