Manufacturing enterprises under the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan presented an expanded range of products at the Exhibition of Economic Achievements of the country, held to mark the 35th anniversary of independence.

Sonagul Kosaeva, a representative of the ministry, spoke about all the new domestically produced products manufactured at the facilities of the Consumer Union of Turkmenistan in the cities of Abadan and Bayramaly. The main focus of these facilities is the deep processing of vegetables and fruits and the production of canned meat products.

First and foremost, the enterprise surprised visitors with unusual recipes in its dessert range. The new product line includes original types of jam: melon and watermelon jam, watermelon-and-carrot jam, watermelon-and-pumpkin jam, as well as a combined watermelon-, pumpkin-, and carrot jam.

At the same time, the meat-processing workshop has undergone significant modernization. Canned veal and steamed beef, as well as chicken in its own broth, have appeared on the shelves and in the exhibition display. The real bestsellers have been “meat breakfast,” beef pâté, beef with sauce, as well as nutritious and high-calorie meal combinations — rice and buckwheat-semolina sauces with meat. All these products have harmoniously complemented the food basket of the country’s citizens.

It is worth noting that the Abadan manufacturing enterprise is one of the oldest flagships of the domestic food industry, with a history dating back to 1958. Today, the plant not only supplies all regions of Turkmenistan with high-quality canned products, bottled water, rosehip compotes, and soft drinks, but also actively purchases raw materials from local agricultural producers.

Thanks to the strictest quality control and compliance with international standards, products under national brands have gained recognition in foreign markets as well. At present, canned goods and beverages produced by these enterprises are actively exported to Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, and Iran.
