Universities in Turkmenistan and Iran are expanding mutually beneficial cooperation

Turkmen state university named after Magtymguly and University of Mashhad named after Ferdowsi (Iran) have signed a Memorandum of understanding.

The signing ceremony for the bilateral document took place during the international exhibition and scientific conference «Healthcare, Education, and Sport in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state», held in Ashgabat from the 10th to 12th of October.

The new agreement provides for collaboration between the universities, primarily in the areas of faculty professional development and academic exchange. In accordance with the document, the parties aim to actively develop an effective and mutually beneficial academic partnership, exchange best practices, and implement joint initiatives.

As noted at the ceremony, strengthening international cooperation is a key task of the new historical era, playing a significant role in expanding the scientific potential of higher education institutions, integrating innovations into the educational process, and training high-level specialists capable of making a meaningful contribution to the modern socio-economic development of their countries.
