On the 15th of October, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, speaking at the 7th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in Baku, proposed the formation of a Network of Young Trust Ambassadors.

The head of state noted the importance of humanitarian cooperation, emphasising that the rich cultural traditions and historical ties of the peoples of the CICA countries serve as a reliable foundation for strengthening mutual understanding. Turkmenistan advocates for the expansion of academic exchanges and the development of partnerships within youth platforms.

In this context, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized that intensifying youth diplomacy will be a powerful incentive to engage the next generation in strengthening the culture of peaceful dialogue.

«A practical step in this direction could be the creation of a Network of Young Trust Ambassadors, comprised of active, talented, and progressive youth from our countries, called upon to promote the ideals of peace, tolerance, and constructive intercultural dialogue», – suggested President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
