The Turkmen national institute of world languages named after Dovletmammet Azady held a competition entitled «Oratorical art in Korean».

The holding of this creative competition among Turkmen youth has acquired the status of a good tradition, confirming the strategic nature of humanitarian cooperation between Turkmenistan and Korea and the special role of language learning as a reliable bridge uniting cultures and spiritually bringing peoples closer together.

The competition, organised by the Turkmen national institute of world languages named after Dovletmammet Azady in conjunction with Kangwon national university in the Republic of Korea, was held in an atmosphere of creative upsurge and made a significant contribution to the intellectual development of young people.

The event was actively attended by talented university students, students from specialised educational centres, and secondary school students, who vividly demonstrated their language knowledge and skills.

Participants spoke on topics such as the importance of learning Korean, new opportunities in education, and friendships that span generations.

The jury assessed the skill of artistic recitation, stage culture, and richness of speech of the participants. Spectacular national dances and meaningful creative performances added a special touch to the event.

According to the decision of the jury, first place was won by Leyli Babanyyazova, a 12th-grade student at Ashgabat specialised secondary school №88 with in-depth study of foreign languages.

Second place was awarded to Aynur Eyyamberdiyeva, a student at the King Sejong Korean educational centre in Ashgabat. Third place was taken by Leyli Ergeshova, a third-year student majoring in Korean language at the Turkmen national institute of world languages named after Dovletmammet Azady.

The winners were awarded Certificates of Honour and received the opportunity to take a study trip to the Republic of Korea. The outstanding participants were presented with commemorative gifts.

The competition helped to increase the interest of the younger generation in knowledge, improve the language skills of Turkmen students, and became further evidence of the strengthening of cultural and educational ties between the two friendly countries.
