In order to comprehensively develop the agricultural sector and significantly strengthen its material and technical base, maintain food security of the country, increase labour productivity in the agricultural sector and food industry, and introduce new innovative technologies for waste-free and comprehensive processing of raw materials in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution.

According to the document, the State food industry association is authorised to enter into a contract for the design and construction of a vegetable oil production facility in the Garashsyzlyk etrap of the Dashoguz velayat with a processing capacity of 60 thousand tons of industrial cottonseed per year, along with landscaping of the surrounding area.
