Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with participation of Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet T.Atahallyev and khyakims of velayats to consider the course of works in the agricultural complex and regions of the country.

The first floor was given to khyakim of Akhal velayat T.Nurmyradov who reported on proceeding seasonal field activities in the region.

As he informed, necessary measures are taken at present to accelerate paces of cotton-picking campaign for lost-free harvest.

In addition, in the velayat, the wheat sowing proceeds and in sown fields vegetative watering is carried out. In the fields where young shoots are obtained, corresponding agricultural activities are held.

At the same time, in the fields sown with potato, fruits, vegetables and other food crops, due work is carried out to gather crops and deliver them to the population.

Besides it, he reported on the state of affairs in construction of social, cultural and industrial projects, planned to commission into operation in the velayat the current year according to programs of social and economic development of the country.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pointed out the necessity to carry out of seasonal activities proceeding in agriculture at a qualitative level with observance of agro-technical terms and gave the khyakim in that respect concrete instructions.

The head of the state emphasised the importance of successful fulfilment of goals planned in programs of social and economic development of the country, with a view of consecutive increase of standards of living of people, and instructed the khyakim to keep control over the high quality and terms of civil work at the projects planned to open in the velayat this year.

Then, khyakim of Balkan velayat R.Jumayev reported on seasonal agricultural activities realised in the region.

As he informed, these days, the velayat is busy with gathering the grown crop of cotton in the shortest terms and lost-free. At the same time, necessary measures are taken to increase paces of cotton-picking campaign.

In the velayat, the wheat sowing proceeds and in wheat sown fields vegetative watering is carried out and in fields where young shoots are obtained, due agricultural activities are implemented.

Proceeding from set goals on the further strengthening of food abundance in the country, proper care is taken of winter potato and fruits, vegetables and gathering of the grown crops.

In addition, the khyakim reported on the paces of construction of social, cultural and industrial projects planned to commission into operation in the velayat the current year.

Having heard the report, the President of Turkmenistan noted the significance of high organisation level of seasonal activities provided these days in agriculture, in particular cotton-picking campaign and wheat sowing, and gave the khyakim relevant instructions.

The head of the state also instructed him to provide control over the quality and terms of construction of different projects planned to open in the velayat this year.

Then, khyakim of Dashoguz velayat D.Babayev reported on the course of seasonal agricultural activities in the region.

He informed that the velayat carries out the harvest of cotton in the shortest terms and lost-free and takes necessary measures to increase paces of harvesting.

The special attention is given to effective functioning of agricultural machinery to carry out the sowing of wheat in agro-technical terms and of high quality.

At the same time, the gathering of the grown rice, winter fruits, vegetables and other agricultural crops is carried out in the velayat.

He also reported on the course of construction of social, cultural and industrial projects to be commissioned into operation in the velayat in the current year according to the national rural redevelopment program.

Having heard the report, the President of Turkmenistan gave the khyakim concrete instructions connected with the timely and lost free cotton harvesting, acceleration of paces of work in this sphere and appropriate conduction of wheat sowing within agro-technical terms.

The head of the state also instructed him to keep control over the quality of construction of different projects planned to open in the velayat this year according to the national rural redevelopment program.

Then, khyakim of Lebap velayat Kh. Ashyrmyradov reported on ongoing seasonal agricultural campaigns.

As he informed, these days in the region agriculturists are busy with the gathering of grown cotton in the shortest terms and lost-free, and transportation of the collected crop to profile enterprises and procuring points. Due steps are taken for effective involvement of agricultural machinery.

In the velayat, the wheat sowing is also in full swing and sown fields are provided with vegetative watering and in fields where young shoots are obtained, due activities are taken to ensure the best of the crop.

At the same time, proper measures are implemented to harvest rice, gourds, and other agricultural crops.

He also informed on the state of affairs in construction of social, cultural and industrial projects planned to commission into operation in the current year according to the national rural redevelopment program.

Summing up the report, the head of Turkmenistan marked that at present, in agriculture the responsible season proceeds, and instructed the khyakim to undertake necessary steps to ensure lost-free and timely harvest of cotton and the wheat sowing according to agro-technical norms.

Then, khyakim of Mary velayat B.Orazgylyjov reported on the course of realisation of seasonal agricultural activities in the region.

As he informed, within the fields activities proceeding in the velayat, proper work is carried out to ensure timely and lost-free harvest of cotton. Necessary measures are realized for full involvement of agricultural machinery and uninterrupted transportation of the collected crop to ginneries and procuring points.

In addition, the wheat sowing also proceeds in the velayat and in sown fields watering and appropriate care of the crop are provided.

In connection with completion of care of sugar beet, preparation for its harvesting is conducted at present.

Proceeding from set goals by the President of Turkmenistan on increase in volumes of output of agricultural production and the further strengthening of food abundance in the country, due steps are implemented to take care of potato, gourds and other agricultural crops and to gather the grown crop and its delivery to the population.

Having heard the report, the head of the state noted the importance of adoption of necessary measures for cotton harvesting - valuable raw materials for textile and the national economy food-processing industry and conduction of sowing of wheat within established agro-technical terms and gave the khyakim concrete instructions.

Further, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet T.Atahallyev reported on the course of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the country.

As he informed, within the seasonal activities proceeding in agriculture corresponding measures are taken to gather cotton within the shortest terms and lost-free, and to ensure its uninterrupted transportation to reception points and profile enterprises. All necessary measures are taken for full involvement of agricultural machinery in these activities.

The wheat sowing for the next year harvest also proceeds, top dressing of sown fields by mineral fertilizers and vegetative watering are in parallel conducted.

With a view of successful fulfilment of goals set by the President of Turkmenistan on maintenance of the population with agricultural products made in the country, velayats carry out the gathering and delivery of food crops to local markets. In Dashoguz and Lebap velayats, rice harvest proceeds, and in Mary velayat – care of sugar beet is at its closing stage and in that connection, preparation for its gathering goes on.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pointed out an important role of the agrarian sector in national economy and in that connection, instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet to keep control over appropriate conduction of seasonal activities in the sector.

Addressing participants of the working meeting, the head of the state instructed them to carry out necessary activities in velayats to increase paces of timely and lost free cotton-picking campaign, to implement the wheat sowing of high quality and within agro-technical terms, to provide effective work of agricultural machinery and equipment in the sowing campaign, and in due time to carry out vegetative watering to obtain young shoots of wheat and measures to combat weeds.

Besides it, the President of Turkmenistan underlined the importance of gathering fruits, vegetables and other agricultural crops, as well as rice in Dashoguz and Lebap velayats timely and without loss in velayats for maintenance of home market and preparation for the beginning of sugar beet harvest in Mary velayat and timely settlement of accounts between manufacturers of wheat and cotton and service enterprises and establishments for the work fulfilled for the crops of the current year.

The head of the state, having emphasised the importance of successful fulfilment of goals defined in programs of social and economic development of the country, instructed him to carry out a strict control over the course of civil work at social, cultural and industrial projects planned to open in velayats in the current year.

Having concluded the working meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished its participants sound health, family well-being and big successes in their work.
