The Turkmen State Institute of Finance invites students from higher education institutions in Turkmenistan and abroad to take part in the III Open International Internet Olympiad on “International Financial Reporting Standards”.

The Olympiad will take place on November 27 at 12:00 p.m. local time. It will be held as an individual competition in Turkmen, English, and Russian.

Each university may enter up to four students, regardless of their major or year of study.

Participants will be given 10 IFRS-related problems to solve within 120 minutes. The competition jury will include representatives of universities and research and educational institutions from Turkmenistan and other countries.

Registration will remain open until November 21. To apply, applicants must email the details of their participants to the organizing committee at tdmai.tbm@gmail.com.

Participants’ results will be determined by their total scores and published on the institute’s official website. The Open International Online Olympiad in IFRS is organized to identify talented young people, develop students’ critical thinking and broaden their outlook, deepen their theoretical knowledge and improve their practical skills in the subject. It also aims to prepare young professionals capable of making appropriate management decisions independently and navigating the professional environment with confidence.

The organizers invite all interested students to participate in the Olympiad and express their confidence that the upcoming competition will provide an effective platform for expanding academic ties, strengthening friendly relations, and exchanging experience among students and faculty members of Turkmen and international universities.
