To mark World Children’s Day, celebrated on November 20, an exhibition and charity fair entitled “Kindness That Changes the World” will be held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, with the participation of students from the country’s higher education institutions.

The main purpose of the event is to uphold the national traditions of humanism, compassion, and support for those in need, while encouraging young people to engage in charitable activities and make a meaningful contribution to the work of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship.

As part of the exhibition and fair, each higher education institution in the country will present an exhibit reflecting its academic profile. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore students’ creative works, professional skills and initiatives, as well as products that reflect the national traditions and cultural values of the Turkmen people.

It is worth noting that holding the “Kindness That Changes the World” exhibition and fair is becoming a welcome tradition. The event was first held under this title on April 22, 2025, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, in commemoration of World Earth Day. It brought together students and faculty members from the country’s higher education institutions, as well as representatives of foreign diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan. Universities presented themed displays featuring national jewelry, handmade crafts, souvenirs, and a variety of refreshments. All proceeds raised during the event were donated to the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship.

The upcoming exhibition and fair is expected to provide another opportunity for young people to demonstrate their initiative and talents, while contributing to the noble cause of supporting children in need of care and attention.

The “Kindness That Changes the World” exhibition and fair will take place on November 20, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
