President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who was spending his short summer holidays on the Caspian coast, considered the new construction projects in the Avaza national tourist zone.
The presentation held in the Serdar Hotel brought together Vice Premiers, the head of the Mejlis, military and law-enforcement agencies, ministries and departments, Velayat Khyakims as well as journalists.
The layouts with draft designs of future facilities to be built in Avaza were presented in the hall of the hotel. Vice Premier B. Hodjamuhammedov informed the Turkmen leader on the new projects and reported that the areas for construction sites, building owners and contractors had been selected.
The projects of a number of new high-class hotels to be constructed at the request of the Ministry of Defense, the Ashgabat Khyakimlik as well as the departments of the oil and gas, financial and economic complexes were presented to the Turkmen leader for consideration.
Among the other facilities to be erected in the Avaza national tourist zone are a five-star hotel designed for 300 places and park.
The President of Turkmenistan considered the projects of the hotel to be built at the request of the institutions of the scientific and educational sphere, sports and tourism as well as multisectoral sports complex.
The projects on creation of woodlands and parks in the tourist zone, the further development of the banks of the man-made Avaza River and draft designs of hydraulic facilities were presented to the Turkmen leader for consideration.
The President of Turkmenistan emphasized the importance of landscape activities based on scientific recommendations and given the soil and climatic conditions of this region. The Turkmen leader suggested adorning the local landscape with various sculptural compositions which would express the peculiarities and beauty of the Turkmen nature.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also considered the layout of the new etraps to be created on the Caspian coast and gave a number of specific instructions to the relevant officials.
It is also planned to create a network of economy-class hotels designed for 3,000 holiday makers.
All necessary conditions will be created in Avaza for the service sector specialists. A housing estate designed for 1,000 workers will be built in the tourist zone.
A multilevel car park will be constructed on the Caspian coast for those who arrive in Avaza by cars.
