Noting that the Islamic Republic of Iran supported the important international initiatives put forward by the President of Turkmenistan to strengthen peace, security and universal wellbeing, the new leader of Iran focused on the positive impact of these initiatives on the processes taking place in Central Asia and the world at large. In particular, the important initiatives to implement the ambitious energy projects contributing to sustainable economic development of the region as well as the projects aimed at building up its transit transport capacity put forward and promoted consistently by the Turkmen side have been welcomed.
