President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip round the Turkmen capital to see the progress in implementing the urban development programme and construction projects.
Early in the morning the President of Turkmenistan headed to the building of the Congress Centre and the Centre of Theater and Concerts designed for 3,000 seats constructed by the Bouygues Company (France) in the Turkmen capital.
The Turkmen leader considered the draft designs of the Congress Centre, the Centre of Theater and Concerts designed for 3,000 seats, Yyldyz five-star hotel, ropeway and skiing camp and projects on development of the Chandybil Avenue and Archabil Square, improvement of the centre of the Turkmen capital and construction of a multifunctional square in the Avaza tourist national zone.
Considering the projects and draft designs, the Turkmen leader made a number of comments and provided recommendations regarding the functional purpose, architectural design and practical use of innovative technologies.
Considering the projects on further development of Ashgabat, creation and reconstruction of municipal parks and squares as well as modernization of the highways in the Turkmen capital, the Turkmen leader provided remarks and made some recommendations.
Considering the draft design of the multifunctional square in the Avaza tourist national zone which includes entertainment facilities, the President of Turkmenistan provided a number of important recommendations.
Then the President headed to the building of the Yyldyz five-star hotel under construction in the southern part of the Turkmen capital.
The head of the Bouygues Company informed the President of Turkmenistan on the progress of the construction works at this important object entrusted to the French Company.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the particular status of the hotel under construction which should blend well with the architectural design of the Turkmen capital. According to the Turkmen leader the new multifunctional building should be distinguished and met the high international technological requirements.
Then the President of Turkmenistan entered the hotel, where the exposition of construction materials and materials used to decorate the hotel facilities has been arranged.
The lift took the Turkmen leader to the observation desk on the 16th floor, which provides a picturesque view of the white-marble capital, its new facilities, modern avenues and highways, parks and squares.
The President of Turkmenistan also considered the progress of construction of the Government building implemented by the Winci Construction Grands Projets French Company.
