The Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the fourth convocation held its 21st session with participation of the representatives of some ministries and departments, law enforcement agencies and mass media. The meeting agenda focused on a number of draft laws and regulatory acts.
Among the main documents considered during the meeting was the draft of the Law of Turkmenistan "On the ratification and introduction on the Code of Turkmenistan on administrative violations".
The youth policy carried out in Turkmenistan was also considered during the meeting. In this regard, the Turkmen parliamentarians drafted the Law of Turkmenistan "On the State youth policy". The draft law specifies the key tasks, principles and vectors of the State youth policy as well as the mechanism of its development and implementation with the aim to create the social, economic, legal and organizational conditions for the youth.
Another important document considered during the meeting was the draft Law of Turkmenistan "On hydrocarbon gas and gas supply".
In accordance with this Law, the state policy in this sphere is implemented through the state regulation of the efficient use of gas reserves, export of gas based on the necessity to protect the economic interests of Turkmenistan, fulfill the undertaken international commitments, increase the level of gas supply on the territory of our country through the establishment and implementation of the national programme on gas supply.
The draft Law of Turkmenistan "On the transplantation of human organs and (or) tissues" will replenish a number of regulatory acts aimed at protecting the health of citizens and establish the legal and institutional framework for the transplantation of human organs and (or) tissues. The state guarantees the nondisclosure of the information about the donor and the recipient and imposes the liability for the damage to the health of citizens
The parliamentarians of Turkmenistan also considered the drag Laws of Turkmenistan "On the diplomatic service" and "On the diplomatic ranks".
The deputies considered the drafts of the Laws of Turkmenistan "On amendments to the Penal Code of Turkmenistan", "On amendments to some legislative acts of Turkmenistan" and the project of the Resolution of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan "On the ratification of the Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Republic of Lithuania on the avoidance of the double taxation and prevention of fiscal failure with respect to taxes on income and capital.
During the 21st session of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the fourth convocation, the parliamentarians approved and adopted the laws drafted in accordance with the national interests of Turkmenistan and the generally recognized norms of the international law.
