President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the Head of the International Automobile Federation Jean Todt, who had arrived in the Turkmen capital to take part in the solemn ceremony of opening of the Car Racing Championship of Turkmenistan held in our country for the first time.

Expressing deep gratitude for the opportunity of a personal meeting, the guest, who has arrived in our country for the first time, congratulated President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the Turkmenistan's accession to the International Motor Sports Federation and wished the Turkmen leader great success in pursuing the noble state policy aimed at strengthening the heal of people and their wellbeing.

During the meeting the President of Turkmenistan and his guest discussed the prospects of cooperation in the sphere of motor sports, where, according to the Head of the International Automobile Federation, the partnership between Turkmenistan and international and regional federation would be very profitable. It was noted that the construction of the motodrome in the Turkmen capital would become a very prospective project in this sphere. The Turkmen leader invited his guest to attend the ceremony of opening of the new motodrome.
