President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the Executive Secretary of the UN Economic Commission for Europe Mr. Sven Alkalai.

In the course of the meeting, the head of state and his high-ranking guest exchanged views on key issues of cooperation between our country and UN Economic Commission for Europe, taking into account that in the current year at the fifth meeting of the 65th session of the UN ECE, Turkmenistan was elected for vice-presidency in this Commission for two-year period. Trade-economic sphere, energy, transport and communication sphere and several others were ranked among vital trends of partnership.
