The leader of Turkmenistan had a meeting with Chairman of Japan Business Federation (Nippon-Keidanren) Mr. Hiromasa Yonekura on the third day of the official visit to Japan. It should be noted that over a hundred of national business associations, which currently operate in Japan, form Japan Business Federation (Keidanren).
The banquet hall of Akasaka Palace was the venue for the meeting, which was held in the format of a lunch. The top managers of the major companies of Japan, such as Itochu, TOYO Engineering, Chiyoda, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Mitsubishi, Sumitomo, Marubeni, Toshiba and Komatsu, attended the meeting.
An exchange of views on the prospects and ways to build up long-term partnership in the energy, trade and economic, chemical, transport, agriculture and water management and other important sectors of mutual interest took place in a businesslike atmosphere.
The meeting provided the platform for reviewing bilateral cooperation and discussing the ways and approaches to intensify it, new ideas and interesting ideas for joint projects and the methods to enhance the effectiveness of cooperation. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the Chairman of Japan Business Federation expressed mutual belief that cooperation would further develop meeting priorities and interests of the two friendly nations.

The JATA International Tourism Forum, which will focus on the ways to promote tourism and the International Business Meeting aimed at discussing the aspects of cooperation in tourism, will be held in the framework of the exhibition. Over 150 countries and regions, among which Turkmenistan pavilion is distinguished by bright national colours and ornaments, are showcasing their tourism potential.
