In the final day of his official visit to Japan, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the President, chief executive officer of the Japanese Corporation “Mitsubishi Corporation” Mr. Ken Kobayashi. The head of the Turkish “Gap Inşaat” Company Ahmet Chalyk also took part in the meeting.
In the course of the interested view exchange on the current state and prospects of development of constructive cooperation, being established on long-term basis on the principles of equality and mutual benefit, Mr. Ken Kobayashi confirmed strong intention of his corporation to consolidate its positions on prospective Turkmen market. As it was noted, powerful technological and production basis of “Mitsubishi” allows providing various products and wide spectrum of services.
In this connection, it was emphasized that this experience will also contribute to successful realization of new project of the plant for production of ammonia and carbamide in Garabogaz, which construction will be entrusted to “Mitsubishi Corporation” (Japan) and “Gap Inşaat” (Turkey) in accordance with the Framework Agreement made the day before with “Turkmenhimiya” State Concern.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan from its part is also interested in adoption of unique experience of Japan and in particular, its largest companies, which are recognized world leaders today in the field of leading technologies and innovative designs.
In conclusion of the meeting, having thanked for high confidence, the head of “Mitsubishi Corporation” assured to spare no efforts to fulfill with honor the obligations and make their contribution to the realization of scale programs of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan in future as well.
