On the instructions of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Chairperson of the Mejlis A. Nurberdyeva received the credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Finland to Turkmenistan Mr. Niklas Lindqvist.
During the meeting the diplomat was briefed on the important aspects of the state policy of Turkmenistan that prioritizes the development of the mutually-beneficial partnership with all countries of the world as a fundamental principle. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Finland to Turkmenistan was also informed on the reformatory programmes taken place in the country. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the project on creation of the Avaza National tourist zone on the Caspian coast. The diplomat was also informed on the work of the National Parliament of Turkmenistan on improvement of the national legislation.
In conclusion of the meeting the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Finland to Turkmenistan noted that cooperation between Turkmenistan and Finland had great potential for further development in many prospective areas.
