President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held an enlarged meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers with participation of the Mejlis deputies, heads of military and law-enforcement agencies, a number of ministries and core departments, journalists, Khyakims of velayats, etraps and Ashgabat, and journalists. The meeting agenda focused on the priority issues of the state policy life and drafts of some documents.
Opening the meeting, the Turkmen leader gave floor to the Prosecutor General of Turkmenistan A. Hallyev, who reported on the work done by the structures under his supervision. In particular, it was reported on the facts revealed during the investigation of the criminal case against the former Prosecutor in Ashgabat M.Garaev. Then the Prosecutor General of Turkmenistan reported on criminal acts committed by M.Garaev with the assistance of the head of the Turkmenpagta State Concern, the Chairman of the Turkmengallaonumleri State Association Ya.Charyeva and deputy Ashgabat Khyakim.
In this regard, the President of Turkmenistan relieved Ya. Charyev, H. Annamyradov and Deputy Ashgabat Khyakim A. Seyitgulyev of their posts for the serious shortcomings in the work and the use of their official duties for personal gain.
Then the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution on the appointment of new Ashgabat and velayat Prosecutors.
Then, Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan I. Mulikov reported on the work done to ensure the public order in the country as well as the measures taken to prevent crimes. Commenting on the report, the President of Turkmenistan relieved H. Muhammedov of the post of a Vice Chairman, Executive Secretary of the Office of the President of Turkmenistan and the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan in connection with the transfer to another job.
The Minister of Internal Affairs also reported on the outcomes of the revision at the Main State Tax Service of Turkmenistan. Commenting on the report, the Turkmen leader relieved A. A. Mamikov of the post Chief of the Main State Tax Service for the serious shortcomings in his work.
Expressing dissatisfaction with the work of the Khyakim of Serdarabat Etrap in Lebap Velayat Ch. Ovezov,President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov relieved him of the post for the serious shortcomings in his work.
The President of Turkmenistan relieved D. Akmyradov of the post of the Chief of the Ashgabat Police Department for the serious shortcomings in his work. Ya. Soyegov was appointed to the position.
In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, A. Yegeleev was relieved of the post of a Vice Premier for the shortcomings in his work.
Then the floor was given to Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan A. Nurberdieva, who informed the Turkmen leader on the preparations for the Elders' Council of Turkmenistan to be held in Dashoguz this year.
Emphasizing that the agenda of the Elders' Council will focus on the priority tasks of the state policy life, which play an important role in the further development of independent neutral Turkmenistan, wellbeing and happiness of the Turkmen people, the Turkmen leader underlined the need to take all necessary measures to hold the meeting at the high organizational level.
Vice Premier B. Hodjamuhammedov reported on the preparations for the solemn ceremony of opening of the complex of new facilities of the resort infrastructure built in the Avaza National tourist zone.
Vice Premier B. Nurmyradova reported on the work done in the sectors under her supervision as well as on the results of the Turkmenin Altyn Asyry National Contest announced by the President of Turkmenistan among workers of culture and art, amateur young artists and gifted children.
The ceremony of awarding the winners of the contest will be held on the Caspian Coast in the Avaza National tourist zone and will become another bright event dedicated to the 22nd anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that the large-scale changes implemented in all spheres, including economy, culture, education - provided good results and we had reached a next stage in the development of our country. To continue the further way in right direction, it is necessary to consider the situation on site - in straps and settlements - to see how the taken decisions are implemented, where the reforms are going in compliance with general programmes and which etraps are behind the schedule. The President of Turkmenistan underlined the necessity to study those issues that would help us improving the living conditions for the local population.
Underlining the significance of those issues, the President of Turkmenistan instructed the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan and the Chairman of the Supreme Control Chamber to establish six groups with participation of the deputies of the National Parliament and so that they could consider the progress of work on sites.
