President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is on a working visit to Balkan Velayat, held a working meeting with Chairperson of the Mejlis A. Nurberdyeva and Vice Premiers B. Nurmyradova and S. Toilyev on the Caspian seashore.
The meeting agenda focused on the preparations for the opening ceremonies of new facilities in the Avaza national tourism zone, which would take place in the framework of the celebrations in honour of the 22nd anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan.
Chairperson of the Mejlis A. Nurberdyeva informed the President of the on-going activities of the Parliament and reported that the Berkarar recreational centre built at the request of the Mejlis in the seaside town was ready for commissioning. Vice Premier S. Toilyev reported that another resort facility – the Seirana Hotel – built for workers of the spheres of science, education, healthcare, sports and tourism was ready for commissioning.
Vice Premier B. Nurmyradova reported on the preparations for cultural actions, which would take place in the Avaza national tourism zone, and the programme of Independence Day celebrations.
In this regard, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said that Independence Day celebrated in Turkmenistan on a grand scale had gone down in history of the Turkmen people as the shining symbol of their cherished dream of the free and prosperous country that had come true. The Turkmen leader instructed to ensure the high level of organisations of the celebrations and cultural events.
Upon concluding the working meeting, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov together with his associates walked along the seashore to see the progress in development of the seaside resort. The Turkmen leader paid special attention to the improvement of the territories adjacent to recreational centres, planting greenery and arrangement of green spaces. The Turkmen leader gave specific instructions to the high-rankling officials on the preservation of environmental wellbeing.
