President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip around the Turkmen capital to consider the progress of construction of portent houses and other facilities, development of the road, transport, communication, social and living infrastructure of Ashgabat. The cabinet ministers, the heads of ministries and departments accompanied the Turkmen leader.
The President arrived to the Archabil Shayoly in the southern region of the Turkmen capital, where a new cultural and business centre is under construction. Vice Premier Sh. Durdylyev reported on the progress of construction works.
The projects of a number of objects designed given the comments and recommendations of the President of Turkmenistan were presented to the Turkmen leader for consideration.
Considering the projects and draft designs, the President provided remarks and made some recommendations regarding the functional and architectural design of the objects and the active use of the innovation technologies.
The Turkmen leader instructed the relevant officials on the further work on improvement of the Turkmen capital and widening its highways given the increasing traffic. The President of Turkmenistan underlined the need to create all necessary conditions for traffic safety and convenience for drivers and pedestrians applying the state-of-the-art engineering and technological approaches in establishing the multibranch transport system. The Turkmen leader also focused on such issues as street lighting, planting greenery and environment in the city. The President also considered the newly-constructed buildings on the Archabil Avenue.
