President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov participated in the festivities taken place on the Caspian coast on occasion of the new architectural premiers that have replenished the infrastructure of the international sea resort as well as the ceremony of opening of a new high-rise flagpole with the State Flag of Turkmenistan.
The President of Turkmenistan arrived to the traffic roundabout representing the 'gates' into the National tourist zone, where the National Flag of Turkmenistan will welcome the guests to Avaza.
To the accompaniment of the National Hymn of Turkmenistan, the National Flag of Turkmenistan was raised.
Then the President of Turkmenistan headed to the 12-storey Seyrana Hotel built at the request of the ministries and departments affiliated to the complex of science, education, sports and tourism.
On the 12th floor, the Turkmen leader visited the VIP suites, then the President visited the rooms on the third floor, the dental room supplied with the state-of-the-art equipment, and the gym that is able to host various sports events, including the international ones all the year round.
Then, the President of Turkmenistan headed to the Tadjir Recreation Centre built at the request of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. The ceremony participants cordially greeted the Turkmen leader.
The twelve-storey building of the centre includes 164 rooms and eight two-story cottages designed for one family each. The total area of all buildings and facilities of the centre, including sports and playing grounds, trading centre, underground and outdoor parking, as well as various technical facilities occupies over 20,000 square metres.
The President of Turkmenistan also took part in the ceremony of opening of the Berkarar multisectoral high-class Recreation Centre - one of the most impressive newly-constructed buildings in Avaza.
Raising in the northern part of the sea resort, the grandiose recreation centre built at the request of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan includes the five-start hotel and over 30 cultural, entertainment, sports and health-improving facilities.
The Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, deputies of the National Parliament, cabinet ministers and all participants of the festive events greeted the Turkmen leader. A colorful musical and theatrical performance was presented to the ceremony participants at the square in front of the new Recreation Centre. Thanking the artists for the creative gift, the President of Turkmenistan headed to the main entrance to the building and cut the symbolic ribbon under the storm of applause of those present.
The Berkarar Hotel occupies the territory of over 39,000 square metres. The VIP-tower is connected with the building blocks on upper stores with three galleries made from glass and metal. The enfilade corridor on the first floor leads from the tower to Block A-2 - single-storey high-ceilinged building of the big conference hall. Starting from the third floor, the upper storeys of the VIP-tower host VIP-luxe, VIP de luxe, VIP-ultra luxe apartments. The King-luxe is located on the eleventh floor, Presidential luxury suite - on the twelfth floor and the restaurant in French style with the view of the sea is on the thirteenth floor.
The centre includes ten-storey Block B, eight-storey Block C, six-storey Block D and four-story Block E. The gradual reduction of the block heights from 74.3 metres to 26 metres attaches the wave-shape dynamics to the centre building.
The President of Turkmenistan considered Block C and D with swimming pools with waves and headed to the two-story building of the entertainment centre with swimming pools and aqua park on the first floor, cafes, cinema, playing area for children and adults. A round multisectoral playing grounds, aqua park and amusement park with a Ferris wheel are built near the building of the entertainment centre. There is also the network of sports facilities, including tennis courts, pavilions for practicing squash and mini-field for playing golf on the territory of the complex.
Upon completion of the ceremony of opening of the luxury complex, the President of Turkmenistan bade farewell to those present and left the venue.
