The President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree on convening the 2014 Elders' Council meeting in Lebap Velayat. The meeting agenda will focus on the priority tasks of the state policy life of the country.
With the aim to hold the Elders' Council meetings at the high organizational level, gather and analyze the proposals addressed to the Elders' Council, the State Committee was established and the committee membership headed by the President of Turkmenistan was approved in accordance with the Decree.
It was noted that the document was signed with the aim to involve the elders in the accomplishments of the state significance as well as the use of their profound life experience in enhancing the unity and cohesion of the people during the joint discussions and solution of the important issues of the state policy life of Turkmenistan.
