The Turkmen people like a big friendly family celebrated the 22nd anniversary of independence of the Motherland on October 27. The celebrations centred in the capital of independent neutral Turkmenistan, white-marble beautiful Ashgabat. They were held on the festively decorated main square where thousands of Ashgabat citizens and numerous guests, who arrived from all the regions of Turkmenistan and different countries of the world, gathered together.
