President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov conducted a regular videoconference with the cabinet ministers, heads of ministries and departments, khyakims of the regions and Ashgabat. The agenda focused on priority domestic policy issues, in particular the existing situation in the regions of the country and the progress of construction works.
In particular, the reports focused on the progress in the agricultural campaigns and the implementation of the programme on development of the social sphere. It was also reported on the measures taken to develop the industrial infrastructure of Balkan Velayat and the readiness of the community facilities for the heating season.
The draft design of a children's health-improving centre to be built in Kaahka Etrap in Ahal Velayat was submitted to the Turkmen leader for consideration. The President was informed on the progress of development of the project of a children's health-improving centre designed for 300 places to be erected in Mary Etrap.
Ashgabat Khyakim reported on the progress of construction and the complex measures taken to improve the Turkmen capital. The Turkmen leader was informed on the preparatory work for construction of the Monument "My white city - Ashgabat" in the Turkmen capital. It was also reported on the preparations for the International scientific conference "Thousand-year traditions of the construction culture of Turkmenistan" to be held in Mary Velayat in the middle of November.
Within the framework of the videoconference, the Turkmen leader was informed on the outcomes of the inspections of the rational and effective use of the financial and material resources and maintenance of the infrastructure facilities and industrial capacities carried out by the Supreme Control Chamber. It was also reported on the existing situation in the railway industry and the progress in implementing the important projects in this sphere.
