On the instructions of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Chairperson of the Mejlis A. Nurberdyeva received the credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to Turkmenistan Mr. Pavel Ivan.
Speaking about the prospects for developing the relations between Turkmenistan and Slovakia, it was underlined the significance of widening the trade, economic and humanitarian relations, including in the scientific and technological area and the sphere of culture. It was also emphasized the necessity to enhance the inter-parliamentary ties and cooperation within the framework of public organizations.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to Turkmenistan was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan. The agenda of the meetings at a number of ministries and departments of our country will focus on the prospects for widening cooperation between the two states in various areas.
