President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received a member of the Royal Family - Prince Andrew, Duke of York , who arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the International Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan- 2013” and the 18th International Conference "International Cooperation in Turkmenistan’s Oil and Gas Industry: the Potential, Achievements, Priorities”.
The President and his guest noted that ample opportunities existed for enhancing bilateral partnership based on the profound experience of effective cooperation in various fields. Exchanging views on priority areas of cooperation, the Turkmen leader and his guest called for strengthening traditional cooperation in the humanitarian and cultural spheres, including in the education sector.
Upon concluding the meeting, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Prince Andrew Duke of York expressed belief that Turkmen-British relations would further develop in mutual interests.
