President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Turkmenistan Mr. Sanjay Mark Wadvani, who presented his credentials to the leader of Turkmenistan.
Exchanging the views on the existing situation and the prospects for development of the Turkmen-British relations, the President of Turkmenistan and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom to Turkmenistan appreciated the level of cooperation reached by the two countries within the last years that meet the common interests and priorities of the state development.
Expressing the interest of UK businessmen in taking part in the new interesting projects initiated by Turkmenistan, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom to Turkmenistan assured the Turkmen leader that he would apply every effort to fulfill the high mission entrusted to him to ensure the further intensification of the trade and economic partnership as well as to enhance the intergovernmental relations in the humanitarian sphere, including sport.
