President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office, Co-Chair of the CIS Interreligious Council Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade and Chairman of the Elders’ Council, a deputy of the Parliament of the Republic of Azerbaijan Heydarov Fattah Samad oglu.

Expressing gratitude for the opportunity of a personal meeting, the guests conveyed the warm greetings on behalf of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliev and expressed their best wishes for New Year 2014 to the leader of the Turkmen state and wishes for happiness, peace and goodwill to all people of Turkmenistan.

Guests stressed that the Caucasus fully supported the policy pursued by the leader of Turkmenistan to ensure global peace and security.

The President of Turkmenistan and the Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office and the Chairman of the Elders’ Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan expressed belief that existing mutual interest would lay a firm foundation for fruitful cooperation on a long and mutually beneficial basis.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan Sultan-zade Vahdet Mammadaga oglu attended the meeting.
