President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General of the Army Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting of the State Security Council, during which the work done by the military and law enforcement agencies in 2013 was considered and the priority measures for strengthening the material and technical basis of law enforcement forces were identified. The Turkmen leader considered the road sign models presented by the State Road Guard Service of Turkmenistan and uniform presented for consideration by the Minister of the Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The high-ranking military and law enforcement officials reported on the work done in the period in the spheres under their supervision and the fulfilment of the Turkmen leader's instructions.
It was also reported on the preparations for the celebrations on occasion of the 22nd anniversary of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan and the Defender's Day celebrated annually on January 27.
