President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the construction sites of facilities being built in Ashgabat by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and considered the construction projects developed by private companies to be implemented in Ashgabat and the regions of the country.
Then the Turkmen leader drove to the building of the Cabinet of Ministers located in the centre of Ashgabat, the construction of which was entering into its final stage.
The President emphasized that facilities and buildings located in this part of the city should blend well with the architectural ensemble. Noting that modern trends harmoniously combined with the national architectural traditions should be embodied in exterior design of the building of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Turkmen leader instructed to take necessary measures.
After entering the building, the Turkmen leader drew attention to its design features and gave specific instructions in this regard. A representative of VINCI Construction Grands Projets informed the Turkmen leader of the progress in implementing the project and the measures taken to ensure the high quality of construction work and made the presentation of building materials.
While visiting the construction site of the building of the Cabinet of Ministers, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the large hall where enlarged meetings of the Cabinet of Ministers would be held. Focusing on the need to create the conditions conducive to holding government meetings and discussing important aspects of life of the state and society in the assembly hall, the Turkmen leader noted that its interior design should include national décor elements, which will highlight the wealth of the spiritual and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people.
Then the Turkmen leader drove to the south of the Turkmen capital, where the construction site of a large shopping and entertainment centre and a business centre being built by Turkmen private construction companies at the intersection of 10 Yyl Abadanchylyk Street and Ataturk Street is located. The construction projects were launched in accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan signed on January 6, 2012. In accordance with the Resolution, the building owner is the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. The project of the shopping and entertainment centre that covers a total area of 17.5 hectares in proximity to the future Olympic Village is being implemented by the group of companies - the business society Gujurly inzener and the private construction companies Hilli, Belent jay and Beyik bina. The projects provides for the improvement of adjacent territory.
