President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov chaired a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, during which the domestic policy issues were considered and the important documents were signed.
The Vice Premiers reported on the progress in implementing the large-scale military reform, the agricultural campaigns, as well as the preparations for the festive events on occasion of the 290th anniversary of Magtymguly Fraghi, the existing situation in the fuel and energy sector of the country and the fulfillment of the Turkmen leader's instructions on organization of the efficient system of control over the natural gas consumption.
It was also reported on the preparations for the visit of the government delegation of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Belarus on January 29 - February 1 and a meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Belarus Commission for economic cooperation, on the measures taken to improve the work of the Trade Houses of Turkmenistan in foreign countries, to widen their network and increase turnover.
The report on the progress of construction of the 12th turn of the Turkmen capital was presented during the meeting.
The Turkmen leader was informed that 205 kilometers of the steel lines had been laid along the Bereket-Etrek section of the North-South railway. It was also reported on the progress of construction of the two-story railway stations, apartment houses and other auxiliary facilities.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution "On construction of a complex of modern cottages and yacht club for the sphere of economy, finance and banks" and the Resolution "On the financial support to the small and medium-sized business in Turkmenistan". The Turkmen leader instructed the relevant officials to take the implementation of the General Programme on the improvement of pure drinking water supply to the settlements in Turkmenistan and the efficient use of the water resources of the country under the rigorous control.
Other issues were considered and the decisions were adopted during the meeting.
