The eve of the big national holiday - the State Flag Day was marked with the bright remarkable events. The solemn ceremonies of opening of the new cotton spinning mills, where 400 jobs will be created, took place in Lebap Velayat with participation of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The new cotton spinning mill in Seydi was built and the cotton spinning mill in the administrative centre of Lebap Velayat - the city of Turkmenabat was fully reconstructed and re-equipped by the Norsel International Inşaat Diş Tiсaret Sanayi Limited Turkish Company at the request of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan.
…Early in the morning the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, the cabinet ministers, the Lebap Velayat Khyakim cordially greeted the President of Turkmenistan at the airport in Turkmenabat. The Turkmen leader congratulated those present on the State Flag Day. Then the President made a helicopter flight to the city of Seydi.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the programmes on industrialization of Turkmenistan implemented within the years of independence resulted in the growth of the production of cotton yarn by 17 times and cotton fabric - by eight times. The production and export potential of the national textile industry will significantly increase due to putting the two cotton spinning factories into operation.
"Turkmen textile is remarkable for its high quality and compliance to the international standards. Therefore, it is very popular among consumers. We will continue paying particular attention to the textile industry development", said President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Under the storm of applause, the President cut the ribbon and entered the foyer of the administrative building, where the leading specialist of the factory familiarized the Turkmen leader on the technological process of the cotton yarn production.
The enterprise will process 6,700 tons of cotton fibre and produce 6,000 tons of high-quality Open End 34/1 cotton yarn annually. The major part of the produced goods will be exported to the foreign markets.
The President of Turkmenistan headed to the production workshop to consider the equipment installed at the factory and get acquainted with the technological process.
The production workshops are supplied with the high-performance spinning equipment manufactured by the Trützschler and Schlafhorst German leading companies.
Then the Turkmen leader headed to the conference hall and wrote an entry to the Book of Guests of Honour.
Bidding farewell to those present, the Turkmen leader left the venue. The helicopter took the Turkmen leader to the city of Turkmenabat.

The remodeled Turkmenabat cotton spinning mill will process 4,500 tons of cotton fibre and produce 4,000 tons of high-quality Open End 34/1 cotton yarn annually. The major part of the produced goods will be exported to the foreign markets as well. The efficient and high-performance spinning state-of-the-art equipment produced by the Pieter Swiss manufacturers are installed at the factory. The automated life-support systems will create comfortable conditions for the factory workers. In order to attract young qualified specialists and create optimal living conditions, a dormitory was built on the territory of the factory.
The President visited the main production workshops and considered the process of the cotton yarn production. The highly-qualified specialists, who attended special trainings, familiarized the Turkmen leader with the technological characteristics and the benefits of the new equipment.
