President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Honorary Consul of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Belgium Mr Koen Minne.
During the meeting, the Turkmen leader and the Honorary Consul of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Belgium discussed the opportunities for building up business partnership given the tremendous resource potential and the growing interest of EU countries in Turkmenistan.
In this regard the projects for industrialization and electrification, in particular for the construction of high-voltage electricity infrastructure in collaboration with the renowned European companies, were presented to the President of Turkmenistan for consideration.
Expressing satisfaction with the willingness of business circles in EU countries to cooperate with Turkmenistan, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the development of modern electricity infrastructure served as an essential factor in the successful development of the national economy that the country was modernizing through adopting the best international practices.
