A telephone conversation between President of Turkmenistan and Prime Minister of Malaysia

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Prime Minister of Malaysia Mohd Najib Bin Tun Abdul Razak discussed the current state and prospects of the interstate dialogue during a telephone conversation.

Positively evaluating the progress in implementing the agreements reached at the interstate and intergovernmental level, the leader of Turkmenistan and the Prime Minister of Malaysia expressed belief that the activities of the recently opened diplomatic representations - the Embassy of Malaysia in Ashgabat and the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Kuala Lumpur as well as exchange of visits at various levels would directly contribute to further enhancing fruitful cooperation.

During the conversation the Turkmen leader confirmed the invitation of the Prime Minister of Malaysia to visit Turkmenistan.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Prime Minister Mohd Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak expressed belief that the commitment of Malaysia and Turkmenistan to deepening and intensifying the constructive dialogue would bring traditional partnership up to a new level to meet the objectives of social and economic development of the two states.

The telephone conversation was held on the initiative of the Malaysian side .
